March 2021 edition

Welcome to Tiger One, the online collection of K-12 technology resources that can be integrated into any classroom.

Looking for a new formative assessment strategy to get your students thinking and creating? Give "Sketch and Tell" from @EduProtocals a try, a strategy where you give your students one source (a video to watch, article to read, etc.) and one slide each. On the slide, students need to explain what they learned by a drawing and a writing. Then, you can share the responses with your students using Grid View. ~AO

Choose where each download goes by changing a Google Chrome setting:

  1. Click the 3 dot menu icon in the upper right of Google Chrome.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Scroll down and click “Advanced.”

  4. Scroll to the Downloads section.

  5. Click the “Ask where to save each file before downloading” toggle on.

Even though it seems we will be seeing our students much more in our buildings, finding or creating and using videos for flipped instruction will be here to stay for a long time. You need to keep these 5 tips in mind.
