It is never too early to have student see "AIR like" questions. Some teachers like to embed these styles of questions throughout their assessments all year long, so here are a few resources to help you build "AIR like" questions:
- Edcite - supports AIR aligned technology enhanced question-types
- Edulastic - create customized next-generation assessments
As always, it is a good idea to have your students use the AIR practice site.
- Test Administrators will use the Ohio AIR TA Practice Site to practice administering a practice test (AIR log-in required).
- Students will use the Ohio AIR Student Practice Site to help prepare for the state technology testing tools.
- Here are a few additional resources for administering an AIR Practice test. Also, updates and test items from other states can be found here. ~AO

Google Docs can be a really, really powerful instructional tool. I used to start each of my math classes with a bell ringer activity. It would tell my students what they need to do to start class, including a problem of the day. Unfortunately, after we reviewed the correct steps to solve the problem, we would move on and that problem would basically vanish from existence. But more importantly, the opportunity to share the problem, and the correct steps to solving the problem would also vanish. I should have created one Google Doc, posted it to the "About" tab on my Google Classroom page as a class material, and simply updated it daily. I wouldn't have to "reshare" it, and my students would always know where to find it. The Doc could not only contain each of the questions, but Google Drawings, voice recordings, screencasts, and even handwritten entries could be included as well. ~AO
