WeVideo is an online video editor that allows you and your students to easily create online videos. Simply upload your videos from Google Drive, drag and drop them within the editor, trim them online, and then choose from their pre-made themes to set a unique style. You can add text, transitions, effects, and audio.

The WeVideo Editor App allows you to edit your videos on-the-go. All videos are stored safely on their cloud and videos can easily be shared and are viewable on any device and in any browser.

Animoto is another online video creator that students can use for free. Both options allow you to share the videos, but will have a watermark.

A few quick WeVideo Notes:

  • Sign in with a Google Account

  • The free version, allows you to publish 5 minutes of video per month (with no premium features).

  • Pictures, audio, and video can be uploaded from Google Drive or a computer/device.

  • Editing can be done on their web app or mobile app.

  • Videos can be saved to Google Drive or be published with a sharable link.

These examples were created by Mrs. Bertleff's Music Creations students. They uploaded a video, removed it's audio, and inserted voice over sound effects to become Foley Artists. They could also have included titles, transitions, pictures, and various special effects.
