If your laptop mouse seems too sensitive or you seem to inadvertently touch your touchpad, adjusting your mouse sensitivity can help and is easy to do:
Click the Start button.
Type “Mouse settings” in the search bar and then hit Enter.
Adjust the slider labeled “Mouse pointer speed” or "Cursor speed" to the sensitivity that feels the best (typically 5-7).
