Do you take written notes like I do? Do you often feel like you miss information as you're note taking? Check out a special recording pen called Livescribe which allows you to record audio while you are writing. When you are finished you can go back to any point in your notes and hear what was said. You can also download your written and audio notes to various digital devices including your phone or tablet. ~KMG

If you are interested in assessing your students in a different way, have you tried allowing them to make a comic strip to summarize a chapter in a book, detail a historical event, or explain a new concept? Storyboard That, and my Google version, are easy ways that your students can create comic strips, and equally easy for you to assess them. ~AO

Sometimes a student is signed into their Google account, and YouTube still won't play a video because it is "Restricted." The strange part is, all of the other students are able to watch it. So the problem isn't that they're not signed into their school account, it is because they are also signed into a home account. This video will show you how to fix it. ~AO
