Welcome to Tiger One, the online collection of K-12 technology resources that can be integrated into any classroom.

It is hard to keep up with the changing landscape of AI, and how it can affect teaching in the classroom. This resource can help teachers identify "30 AI tools to use in the classroom," and provides information on each one, how it works, and if there are any pricing or terms of use. We are still asking that you do not submit private student data (including names) into an AI bot and that you do not ask students to sign in to use them.

I have seen so many great projects that have students create something visual to demonstrate their learning. Examples include book covers, event flyers, infographics, posters, real estate listings, advertisements, and more! When you introduce these projects, it will help to provide students with these graphic design tips to make them look professional!

As a school district, we are committed to protecting the rights of our students. Why is it so important? Check out the following article:

Here is the list of District Approved Applications. There are some applications we will not be able to approve due to questionable privacy practices or a lack of curricular alignment. If you would like the district to consider an application that is not currently approved, you can start that process by completing this Apps Approval Request form. Read the full original email for more information.

When working in the Google Suite, commenting can be a very powerful tool.  Try tagging people (or students) within a document, which sends them an email and alerts them to view it or resolve a certain issue. Find out how here:

We all get SOOOO many emails, and I don't know about you, but many of them are about future things that I'll need to be reminded about. That's where the Gmail Snooze feature comes into play.

Have you ever tried to play a video for your class and your volume is coming out of the wrong speakers? There is a quick setting that you can change to choose which output is used for sound. If that doesn't work, a restart is needed.

Cast Audio will only be used by teachers who are casting their desktop screen to some sort of display.
