4.viii. Measuring the intensity of sound (the pupils perspective)

The children, in there groups, compare and contrast the intensity of the sound when the alarm clock and/or music box are placed inside and outside the hand-made insulator or amplifiers. This is evidenced through the use of the Seesaw (student driven) portfolio. See the results below.

Reece thought that discovering how loud the music box was, inside the tin, was a creative act.

Additionally, two girls, Amber and Bibi, without Mr James's help, measured the intensity of sound using the digital equipment.

Bibi realises that using the Seesaw software was something the pupils could use to celebrate their creations.
