4.iii. The tableau: Re-enacting the qualities of a scientist (children’s examples)

Children, in groups of four to five, create a still image (or freeze-frame) which exemplify the qualities of Charles Darwin and his scientific endeavours. Below is an example of a group of four children considering how to construct of their tableau.

Further examples of children’s tableau’s are below. These include Charles Darwin studying a book, observing an orchid in fine detail and contemplating his scientific ideas.
