4.viii. Practically making different kinds of sound (Children’s responses to a carousel of activities)

Children are invited to interact with and explore five different sets of equipment for a few minutes each (post teacher demonstration, see section 3.viii). The excerpt below is a conversation and group examination of vibrations (without the teacher present) using tambourines, drums, rice and tuning forks.
