What is a protective style? It is a style that tucks the ends of your hair away from being exposed to damaging agents such as sun, heat, and constant manipulation. Some examples are:

• Sew-In Weaves

• Wigs

If you are going to keep your hair in a protective style it is important to keep your scalp clean and moisturized! You're going to want to bring these items, because it may be difficult to locate products once there:

• Hair oil/ Scalp oil

• Braid spray (To keep the style fresh)

• Edge control 

• Shampoo and conditioner
