BARRIO GUIDES
Each neighborhood in Barcelona has its own look, feel, and character. One of the greatest things about living in the city is getting to know the areas that are more authentic in the sense that they're not always on the "tourism radar" and give a feel for actual day-to-day life in the city.
If you already read our page about Barcelona, you know that the city is comprised of 10 districts. In every district there are various neighborhoods (or barrios in Spanish and barris in Catalan).
We've created a guide for almost every district and we also highlight some of the barrios in each - take a look:
The district of Ciutat Vella is comprised of the barrios: La Barceloneta, El Raval, El Gótico & El Born.
The district of Sant Martí. In this district we highlight the barrios of Poble Nou and Clot.
The district of L'Eixample. In this district we highlight the barrio of Sant Antoni.
The district of Gràcia.
The district of Sants - Montjüic. We highlight the barrio of el Poble Sec.
The district of Sarrià - Sant Gervasi.
The district of Sant Andreu.
