Remote Work Spots

There are tons of spots around the city that you can set up for your remote work day, should you be doing a remote internship or hybrid style internship. In Barcelona we call this "teletrabajo" - working remotely!

This café in the Poblenou area has an airy, industrial feel to it, and its large wooden tables make it perfect for bringing a laptop and any supplies you may need for your work day.

THREE MARKS COFFEE

A specialty coffee shop that's perfect for coffee lovers, the second floor of this café is a quiet, calm space to get work done.

COSMO

Cosmo Cafe is a unique space filled with plants and art. A popular spot among local Universitat de Barcelona (UB) students, near the back there are big tables to get work done in groups.

This unique venue is a mix between a café and a coworking space! You pay for the number of hours you work, and there's free coffee, tea, and snacks for your entire stay.

LAIE is an oasis of calm in the heart of busy Barcelona. A bookshop meets café, it also has a charming terrace and is perfect for setting up with your laptop for a productive day's work.

The cccb archive

The CCCB is a creative space, museum, exhibition center, cultural hub, and events venue with a variety of quiet workspaces. It has free entry and wifi, comfy chairs, and a café.

LIBRERÍA ALTAIR

This library and café is inspired by old literature and culture, and is full of quiet corners to work. Between free wifi and the café's varied food/drink options, it's a great place to work for a few hours.

LIBRERÍA LA CENTRAL

This library specializing in philosophy, history, anthropology and arts has more than 500 square meters of workspace. It has a very relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for concentrating.

FEDERAL CAFé GòTICO

Federal has a dedicated table and cozy ‘cabana’ for those wanting to get stuck into a day’s work over a flat white or a nutritious breakfast with free wifi.

Nomad is one of the first specialty coffee shops to open in Barcelona. Between green walls, plants, and its minimalist style, it's the perfect cozy corner to get inspired.

Trópico

Trópico has a beautiful back room with a stained glass window that spits daylight onto the wooden tables, so it's the perfect calming place to check items off your to-do list. They have great coffee, teas and juices.

Don't forget that you can also come to get work done in the Student Lounge of our office in Carrer de Casp 130 (just next to our staff office on the 4th floor). It's open from 8:30am to 8pm Monday-Friday, with free wifi and water fountain for filling up your water bottle or making a hot tea.
