Application instructions guide prospective students before they start filling out their forms. This section helps institutions communicate critical guidelines such as required documents, payment info, deadlines, and more.
These instructions appear at the bottom of the application portal and can be tailored to your institution’s needs.
Go to Academics > Application Registration > Settings.
You will land on the Applicant Registration Settings page.
In the first editor labeled “Application Filling Instructions for Candidates”:
Add a brief, clear message that will appear before the application form loads.
📝 These instructions are shown to all applicants, regardless of the programme they select.
In the second editor:
“Application Payment Instructions for Candidates” — you may include steps on how to make the payment, accepted formats, deadlines, or refund policies.
Click Save Application Instructions to apply your content.
If you want to hide this section from applicants, click Disable Application Instructions.
In the Application Status section, you can manage the various stages an application may go through. This allows staff to track and filter applications effectively.
To add a new status, click on Create Status. Enter the name and description of the status (e.g., "Pending," "Allotted," "Discarded").
You can also choose to notify applicants via email and SMS when their application status changes by ticking the relevant boxes.
Save your changes to ensure the new status is active in the system.
