Prerequisites
Add programme and batch
Add global subjects
Link global subjects to program
Add study mode
Add levels
Fee configurations
Enroll students (student allotment & admission)
Login to the ACMS portal and navigate to Administration go to Settings > Manage Global subject/Module > Registration Term > Manage Registration term > New Registration Term
After clicking on New Registration Term, the system will display the below screen and allow the user to enter the term name & Sequence number then save
Note: If you already have a registration term, you can choose to modify it by clicking the modify link and the system will redirect you to a page where you can modify and save the registration term.
Create a batch group for that particular term by clicking on Administration > Setting then go to Batches group
After clicking on Batches group a below screen will appear, click New batch group to create a new batch group.
The below screen will be displayed, provide the batch group name then select the batches you to open registration for and save.
OR Click the Edit icon next to the batch group name that you want to modify, e.g April 2020 then select the batch(es) you want to open registration for,and click save.
Create a batch group period by clicking on Administration > Manage Global Subjects/Modules > Course Registration Management.
After clicking on Course registration Management a below screen will appear, click New batch group period to create a new batch group period.
The below screen will be displayed, provide the required information and then save.
OR Click highlighted Edit icon next to the registration term name that you wish to update as in the image below
Update the name if applicable, select batch group by clicking the checkbox next to the name of the batch group, update the end date for registration and update any other field(s) you wish to change e.g installments ,exam start and end date then Save.
Linking a batch group with global subjects.
Go to Administration > Settings > Manage Global Subjects > Global Subjects Groups.
Select the subject group from the drop down menu, select the programme from the drop down menu and the system will display all global subjects available for the selected programme then select all global subjects that you wish to be associated/ linked with the above selections by clicking on the check box next to the subject name.
NB: Once the admin is done with all the steps, the student can login and register from their profile.
