The Transaction Report feature in the Finance Reports section allows administrators to view all income and expense transactions for the institution, filtered by date range.
Navigate to Finance Reports
From the dashboard, go to Data and Reports > Finance Reports.
Click on Transaction Report.
Choose a Time Range
You can either:
Select one of the preset periods (Last 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, or 24 months), or
Manually choose a Start Date and End Date using the calendar fields.
View Report
Click the View Report button.
A breakdown will appear showing:
Income (e.g., Student Fees, Donations, Registration)
Expenses (e.g., Employee Salary)
Grand Total combining both income and expenses.
Drill Down Into Categories
Click the eye icon next to a category (e.g., Student Fees) to view a detailed breakdown.
This opens a Finance Monthly Report: Fees Report showing each transaction's particulars and amounts.
View by Batch
Further click on the eye icon next to a subject or transaction to view the Batch-level Fee Report.
This includes:
Student Name
Paid Amount
Receipt Number
Date
Payment Mode
Payment Notes
Exporting the Report
Click the Excel (green) or PDF (red) button at the top right of the report view to export.
