After student applications are submitted (either online or manually), administrators need to review, accept/reject, and allocate students to specific programmes and batches. This step finalizes admission decisions and places students within their academic pathway.
Go to Academics > Application Registration.
You’ll see a list of programmes.
Click the application icon next to the programme you want to manage.
On the applicant list page, select one or more students using the checkboxes.
Click Update Status.
You will be prompted to choose one of the following:
Pending – The application is still under review.
Allotted – The student has been accepted and will be assigned to a batch.
Discarded – The application has been rejected.
📝 Use the “Pending” status as a holding state until a final decision is made.
Once an applicant is marked as “Allotted”:
Select the student(s) again.
Click Allocate Applicant.
Choose the appropriate:
Programme
Batch
Level (Year/Semester)
Click Confirm Allocation.
The student is now officially admitted and placed in the correct academic track.
The student can now be included in class registration.
They’ll appear in the batch list and faculty panels for assignment.
You may now proceed to open registration for the allocated batch.
