Attention all Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Herff Jones will be in the 9th and 10th grade cafeterias on Wednesday, November 1 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm for a Parent Ring Order Night. The representative will also be taking orders during all lunch periods on Thursday and Friday in the 11th and 12th grade cafeterias. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to order your class ring.
There will be a mandatory meeting for any boys interested in running winter track on Monday, November 6. The meeting starts at 1:45, during extra help, and we will provide you with the proper paperwork and information to start the season.
Attention all Girls: Interested in making new friends? Would you like to discuss important issues, meet cool mentors, learn to be a leader and so much more? Then join Girls Inc. every Thursday in Room 137 during the extra help period and see what mark they can leave on your life.

Underclass and Faculty Make-up Photos will be taken on Thursday, November 2 in the West Gym. This is the last day to take your yearbook photo. Please make every effort to have yours taken during that time. Thank You.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors: Tomorrow, November 2, we invite you and your family to join us for a Financial Aid Workshop at 7:00 pm in Room 177. A financial aid counselor will be providing information on the financial aid process.

All students in Grades 9 – 12 are invited to attend the William Floyd High School Renaissance Faire on November 15 from 6 pm- 8 pm. Learn what it was like to live during the Renaissance Era by participating in activities, making crafts, watching performances, playing games and winning prizes.
You can pick up your ticket at your AP’s office beginning Wednesday, October 25. The cost of a ticket is one nonperishable food item, and all contributions will go to our local food pantry.

The SAT is this Saturday, November 4, at William Floyd High School.
If you registered for the exam, please arrive at the North Entrance before 7:45 am. You will be given your room assignment as soon as you enter the building.
The test will begin promptly at 8 am and end at approximately 12:30 pm.
You must bring you College Board Admission Ticket and Student ID.
Be sure to bring #2 pencils and a calculator.
Do not bring a cellphone or any wearable technology.
All hats and hoods must be taken off before the start of the exam.
*Please note that all scientific calculators will be permitted
as well as most graphing calculators.

Do you need some help getting ready for a math regent’s exam? Regent’s exam prep sessions are running after school weekly. Algebra I sessions will run every Monday in Room 306 and Thursdays in Room 415. Geometry sessions will be held every Wednesday in Room 223 and Algebra II sessions will be on Fridays in Room 207.
On Thursday, November 16, Suffolk County Community College will be in the Counseling Center for Onsite Admissions. For more information on how to participate see your guidance counselor! Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
