Attention Seniors:  Parking applications are now available in the 1 West, 2 West and 1 East Offices.  You must be a graduating senior with class D driver’s license, registration and insurance card to get a parking sticker.  If you do not have a sticker by October 29 you will not be permitted to park in the South Lot.

The William Floyd Community Summit will be hosting its 2nd Annual Broadway Variety Show.  Auditions will be held at the Community Library on October 22 and 23 from 3-5pm and October 28 from 12-4pm.  All selections must be from a musical.  Singers, dancers and actors are all welcome to try out.

Attention all seniors looking to go to prom this year: Prom will be here before we know it.  Participating in the Fall Candy Fundraiser will help you save money off the price of your prom ticket or even get you a free prom ticket!  Please don’t miss out on this money saving opportunity and go to 3 West to get your permission slip for the Fall Candy Fundraiser!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! All William Floyd High School students are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Renaissance Faire on November 1.  Join us in the West Gym from 6-8pm to learn how people lived during the Renaissance Era by participating in activities, making crafts, watching performances, eating snacks, playing games and winning prizes.  The cost of a ticket is one can of a nonperishable food item.  All contributions will go to our local food pantry.  9th graders can pick up their tickets in 3 West.  Students in grades 10-12 can pick up their tickets in the Chairperson’s Office.  Have a great day!

Attention all Underclassmen:  Life Touch will be in the LGI on November 1 to take pictures of any underclassmen that have not had their pictures taken yet.  Please don’t miss out on this opportunity.  This is the last time Life Touch will be here to take your photos.

Any Senior who has not yet taken a Senior Portrait for the yearbook MUST have their Senior Portrait taken NO LATER than October 31, if they would like their portrait to be in this year’s yearbook.  Please call Lifetouch Studios at 631-861-2555 to arrange an appointment as soon as possible.  Portraits taken after that date are not guaranteed to be in this year’s book, so don’t delay.  Please see Mrs. Janowicz in the Chair’s Office or Dr. Incantalupo in Room 257 if you have any questions.

Attention Seniors: If you submitted your candy permission slip, you can go to Room 155 and pick up your candy box.

This is a reminder to anyone who has not pledged to donate blood on Thursday, October 25, that tomorrow is the last day that appointments can be made.  Please come by the West Nurse’s Office to fill out a pledge form.  Donors must be at least 16 years old.

After school math regents prep is a great opportunity to brush up on your skills for your upcoming regents in January and June.  Algebra 2 regents review will be in Room 207 today.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors: Mount Saint Mary College in Maryland will be in the Senior Café today between 9:00 and 12:30.  Anyone interested may stop by and speak with the representative.

Attention All Juniors and Seniors looking to purchase a class ring: A representative from Herff Jones will be here for the Class Ring Assembly on October 30 during second period.  Parent and Student Ring Order Night will be Wednesday, November 7 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm in the 10th grade café.  Orders can also be placed in school during all lunch periods in the Senior Food Court on November 8 and 9.

Are you interested in joining Foreign Language Honor Society? Foreign Language Honor Society is accepting applications for new members who are in 10th, 11th and 12th grades who are enrolled in a foreign language course. Please see Mr. Robinson in Room 139 for an application and information on how to apply.​

Congratulations to the William Floyd Girls Varsity Volleyball team in their huge win over Brentwood 3 to 1. The coaches are very proud of all the players.  Congratulations girls, that's the way to end the season!
