Attention Seniors: Scholarship applications are now on Naviance. Be sure to get your scholarship number and instructions for accessing the applications at the Counseling Center.
Registration for the Advanced Placement Exams has now begun. The test fees are $94.00 per exam. Checks or money orders should be made payable to WFSD. All AP students must complete and return the AP Exam Registration form along with the appropriate payment to the High School Main Office NO LATER THAN Friday,

Did one of your students, faculty or staff members do something wonderful this past month? Please take a moment to recognize this act by nominating him or her for student of the month or faculty/staff member of the month.
We need nominations for students from 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Please submit all forms in blue or black pen only.
Just as students deserve to be recognized, teachers and staff do as well. Please take a moment to stop by any Assistant Principal’s Office to pick up a form to nominate a teacher or staff member who has had an impact on you in a positive way.
Please drop off all nominations to the 1 West Office.
Information for the upcoming Spring Driver Education program is now available. Go to the quick link on the district’s home page for the most up to date information. Registration will be held on Wednesday, January 17, for Seniors and Thursday, January 18 for Juniors and Sophomores.
Attention all Sophomores:
Are you interested in applying for one of the CTE programs in Automotive, Barbering, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Culinary, Medical Assisting or Small Engines?
If so, please pick up an application from your guidance counselor, Chairperson’s Office or 3 West. The application deadline is Thursday, February 15. Don’t wait…seating is limited for all programs!
Attention Seniors: The Counseling Center will be hosting its annual Onsite College Admissions Day, on Tuesday, February 6! Apply to college, meet with a college representative, and receive a decision on the spot! Come to the Counseling Center for details. Appointments must be made no later than February 1.
Are you thinking about going to the Prom this June? Make sure you are on track to graduate. You can have no more than 18 absences in a full-year course and no more than 9 in a half-year course. You must also attend one of the mandatory Prom Lawyer Meetings!
Do you need some help getting ready for a Math regents exam? Regents exam prep sessions are running after school weekly. Algebra I sessions will run every Monday in Room 306 and Thursdays in Room 415. Geometry sessions will be held every Wednesday in Room 223 and Algebra II Sessions will be on Fridays in Room 207.
Attention All FBLA members: There is a mandatory membership meeting this Wednesday, January 10th, in the LGI at 2:15. All members must attend as we are having guest speakers. Please be on time.
Attention All Lead 2 Feed Members: Last week’s meeting has been rescheduled for this Thursday, January 11, 2018 after school in Room 157. If you missed the first meeting you can still attend. Come to Room 157 at 2:10pm on Thursday!
All students taking the Earth Science Regents in January MUST take the lab practical this week in Room 249, starting at 2:15.
Attention All Students: Do you need Community Service hours? You can earn 4 hours by volunteering to help at Parent/Teacher conferences this Thursday, January 11. The hours are 4:30 to 8:30. You must pick up a permission slip in the 1 West Office as soon as possible.
