 Anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading for the winter season, must attend a meeting on Wednesday, November 7 at 3pm in the West Gym.

Attention all writers, artists, photographers, musicians, and social media expressionists: William Floyd's first online literary magazine Enigma is here to give you the creative voice you've been looking for! Meet with us on Thursday, November 8 at 2:10 in Room 120. We are not Snapchat, not Instagram...We are Floyd Strong Enigma.

Attention all Seniors:  Do you need help filling out your college applications?  Join us for Apps and Snacks in the Senior Café this Tuesday, November 6.  The counselors will be assisting and guiding you on your college process.  If you are interested, you must sign up in the Counseling Center.  Light snacks will be provided.

Attention all GSA Members:  There will be a meeting today during extra help in Room 255.  Officer Lynah will be joining us to talk about the police department’s mission to support the LGBTQ community and answer any questions or concerns.  See you there!

 It is starting to get cold out and some students and staff may be in need of a warm coat.  The Cosmetology students are sponsoring an on-going coat drive.  Our motto: Have a Coat, Leave a Coat.  Need a Coat, take a Coat.  The coat rack is located by the South Lobby.

 All boys interested in trying out for Winter Bowling, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, November 5 at 3:00 in Room 137.

Winter sports try-outs start on Tuesday, November 13.  You must have a pink clearance slip from your nurse to try-out.

 Attention all wrestlers and those wishing to wrestle this year: There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, November 7 in the Wrestling Room.  All forms and information will be given out. The first day of practice will be November 12. If you are unable to attend please see Coach Bradice in Room 137 or Coach Harris in Room 232 before Wednesday.

 Did one of your students, faculty or staff members do something wonderful this past month?  Please take a moment to recognize this act by nominating him/her for student of the month or faculty/staff member of the month.  We need nominations for students from 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.  Please submit all forms in blue or black pen only!  Just as students deserve to be recognized, teachers and staff do as well.  Please take a moment to stop by any Assistant Principal’s Office to pick up a form to nominate a teacher or staff member who has had an impact on you in a positive way.  Please drop off all nominations to the 1 West Office.

 Attention all Students:  Please wear light blue, pink and white on Tuesday, November 6 in support of transgender equality.  Dare to care about equality and please show your support!
