Attention Yearbook Club members:  There will be a meeting on Friday, October 27th, from 2:15-3:00 in Room 136.  This will be a work session to prepare the ballots for Senior Favorites.  Please make every effort to attend.  See you there!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

All students in Grades 9 through 12 are invited to attend the William Floyd High School Renaissance Faire on November 15th from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Learn what it was like to live during the Renaissance Era by participating in activities, making crafts, watching performances, playing games and winning prizes.

You can pick up your ticket at your AP’s office beginning Wednesday, October 25th. The cost of a ticket is one nonperishable food item and all contributions will go to our local food pantry.

This is a reminder to anyone who has not pledged to donate blood on Thursday that tomorrow is the last day that appointments can be made.  Please come by the west nurse’s office to pick up a permission slip.  Donors must be at least 16 years old and all students, regardless of age, need a signed permission slip.

The Varsity football team crushed Sachem East 35 to 7 Saturday in front of a big homecoming crowd. With this win the Varsity Football team is again Big Four Champs.

Do you need some help getting ready for a math regent’s exam? Regent’s exam prep sessions are running after school weekly. Algebra I sessions will run every Monday in Room 306 and Thursdays in Room 415. Geometry sessions will be held every Wednesday in Room 223 and Algebra II sessions will be on Fridays in Room 207.

On Thursday, November 16th Suffolk County Community College will be in the Counseling Center for Onsite Admissions.  For more information on how to participate see your guidance counselor! Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
