Any student who would like to join the Student Government House of Delegates, please see Ms. LiCavoli-Dean in Room 141 or Ms. Fortier in Room 117 before September 17.
Any students that received a letter notifying them that they have been accepted into the Fall Driver Education session must bring their payment and a copy of their learners permit to District Office no later than noon on Friday, September 14. If it is not received the spot will be given to someone on the waiting list.
2018-19 Future Business Leaders of America Membership applications are now available! All previous and new members, pick up applications at the FBLA bulletin board next to Room 158 today. Also, are you ready to take the leadership role? Officer applications are available too! Completed applications and dues can be dropped off to Mrs. Puric in Room 151 or Mrs. Taylor in Room 153. Any questions, see Mrs. Puric or Mrs. Taylor.
The first Freshman Class Council meeting is Thursday, September 20, in Room 161. We have a lot to do! If you cannot attend this meeting, you must see Ms. Devenney in the HS Library to explain why.
For all 9th & 10th graders who do not have a photo ID card, please report to the 3 West Office today, during your lunch or study hall periods only, so that your photo can be taken and a card issued.
Any student looking for community service hours, there is a beach clean-up organized by Suffolk County. It is occurring tomorrow, Saturday, September 15 at 11am at Smith Point. The starting point is at the booth near the campgrounds. Any student interested must email or see Miss Reising in Room 147 sometime today.
The William Floyd Girls Varsity Soccer Team upset Comsewogue on Thursday, September 13th in overtime, winning the game 2-1. The team takes on Patchogue-Medford on Thursday, September 20 as they are looking to take their record to 4-0 in league play.
