There will not be a Stony Brook SAT Prep class on Wednesday, January 9.
There will be a Science Honor Society Meeting for all accepted students today at 2:15 in Room 254. Attendance is mandatory.
Bible Club will meet this Thursday, January 10, in Room 243 at 2:10pm. All are welcome.
Extra Help in the Library is cancelled for today. The Library is open for scheduled classes only. All gym, medical, study hall and lunch students must report directly to your assigned classroom. You will not be able to sign into the Library today.
Do you need help filling out your college applications? Please join us for Apps and Snacks on Tuesday, February 5, in the Counseling Center during Extra Help. The Counselors will be assisting and guiding you on your college process. If you are interested, you must sign up in the Counseling Center. Light snacks will be provided.
Future Business Leaders of America: There is a mandatory meeting today in the LGI at 2:15. We have special guest speakers, please be sure to come! See Ms. Puric or Ms. Taylor with any questions!

Beginning January 2, living environment regent’s review will be taking place during Extra Help each Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday sessions will be held in Room 219 and Thursday sessions will be held in Room 116. There will even be a complimentary core lab review on Friday, January 18, in Room 116.
Beginning January 2, earth science review will be taking place during Extra Help each Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday sessions will take place in Room 249 and Thursday sessions will be held in Room 258. If you are signed up to take the earth science regents as a walk-in this January, you MUST take the lab practical. The lab practical will be given from Thursday, January 10 through Thursday, January 17 in Room 249 at 2:15. See Mrs. Lackemann in the Chairs Office with any questions.

Please submit all forms in blue or black pen only! Just as students deserve to be recognized, teachers and staff do as well. Please take a moment to stop by any Assistant Principal’s Office to pick up a form to nominate a teacher or staff member who has had an impact on you in a positive way. Please drop off all nominations to the 1 West Office.

Schools like L.I.U Post, SUNY Farmingdale, St. Joseph’s College, SUNY Old Westbury and many more will be joining us. After school math regents prep is a great opportunity to brush upon your skills for your upcoming regents in January and June.

Hey students! Are you thinking about going to the prom this June? Make sure you are in good standing, which means on track to graduate and you’ve completed your credit recovery on time. You can have no more than 18 absences in a full year course and no more than 9 absences in a half year course, and you must attend one of the mandatory Prom Lawyer Meetings this March or May!
