Today is the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance, which honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
No one should be subjected to violence simply because of their gender identity or expression. No one should be denied the basic rights that enable their safety and security. Please join with us on this day to remember our departed friends, loved ones and community members.
You can make a difference and effect change by speaking out and by supporting and respecting the LGBT community. You can also join our Gay-Straight Alliance meetings as an ally. Meetings are held on Thursdays in Room 255 during extra help.
Please join us today at 2:00 p.m. in the Auditorium for an informational meeting for this year's spring musical, Cinderella. If you cannot attend the meeting, audition packets may be picked up from Mr. Cordaro, in Room 173.
There will be no Drivers Education lecture or driving classes on Tuesday, November 21. Both driving and lecture will be rescheduled for Tuesday, January 9.
Attention all students. We mustache you a question. In honor of No Shave November, the Library is running a contest that is posted right outside the Library doors.
The winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
