Attention Seniors: Scholarship applications are now on Naviance. Be sure to get your scholarship number and instructions for accessing the applications at the Counseling Center. New Scholarships have been added!! Applications are due Friday,
March 2.
Important Graduation Information: Herff Jones will be here Tuesday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 7 in the Senior Food Court during all lunch periods to measure for caps and gowns. The cost is $25.00. Only cash or a money order will be accepted. Personal checks will not be accepted. Money is due the day of the measurements. If you do not have a lunch period, please see your Assistant Principal for a pass to the Food Court. If you have any questions, please go to the 1 West Office.
Attention Seniors: The Colonial Fund Scholarship is now accepting applications. To apply go to www.colonialfund.org. The application deadline is April 1, 2018.
Any boys interested in running spring track, there will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, March 1 during extra help in the 10th grade cafeteria. You will get all your needed paperwork and the information for the upcoming season.
The Battle of the Classes will take place on Friday, March 2 from 1:40 until 3:05. Tickets are now being sold in the 3 West Office and Library. Tickets are $2. You must have your school ID to purchase a ticket. You will not be able to attend if your name is not on a ticket. Tickets will sell quickly so get yours now!
Attention: Any girl who attended the softball informational meeting, tryouts will begin on Monday, March 5. Stop by the coach’s offices in the East or West Gym to check the tryout list and see which tryout session you are assigned to. Any questions please see Mr. Luhrs in Room 221 during extra help or Ms. Carucci in the West Gym.
The Rotary Club will be meeting soon to select the next Rotary Student of the Month. Rotary students should:
· Be positive representatives of their schools
· Demonstrate academic achievement
· Display characteristics of good citizenship
· Be involved in the school/community
Please nominate a 12th grade student who possesses these qualities and characteristics and is worthy of the honor. The Rotary nomination forms are located in the Main Office, the Library, or any of the Assistant Principal’s Offices.
Any Girl interested in trying out for the Spring Track Team must attend an informational meeting this Thursday, March 1, during the extra help period in Room 162. If you have any questions, please see Coach Ryan.
Attention Seniors: Join us for Senior Day at Citi Field on Thursday, May 3, when the New York Mets will be facing the Atlanta Braves. If you are interested in attending, you must pick up a contract from the 3 West Office starting Monday, March 5. Make sure to return your signed contract back to the 3 West Office by Friday, March 9. Tickets are on sale for $70, cash or money order only, from Tuesday, March 13, to Friday, March 16 during extra help in the 3 West Conference Room. Price includes field level seats- in sections 135 and 136, located near the Shake Shack and Mets Fan Fest area, round trip coach bus transportation and a t-shirt.

Spring High School Sports tryouts start this Monday, March 5.
You must turn in a valid sports physical or RE-Permission slip to your nurse before 12 noon on Monday March 5. Please see your nurse with any questions.
After school extra help and credit recovery classes will be cancelled Friday, March 2.
There is No Interact Club meeting today. The next meeting will be next Thursday, March 8 in Room 147. All members should attend next week and new members looking to get involved and gain community service opportunities are always welcome.
