Anatomy and Histology

The anatomy department includes: Anatomy, Histology, Embryology and Biology.

The Anatomy department: is located in isolation with the main building of school of Medicine. It contains 5 teaching staffs with degrees of (Ph.D, MSc. and Board) with demonstrators who all participate in teaching theory and practical lectures for the first and second year students of the school of Medicine. In addition, teaching theory and practical lectures for the students of the schools of Dentistry (1st and 2nd years), Pharmacy and Nursing, all are attending the Lab’s of the anatomy department.

Histology: is located in the second floor of the building of school of Medicine. It contains 2 teaching staffs (1 Ph. D and 1 MSc.). All the practical lectures of Histology for the second stage students of the schools of Medicine and Dentistry are in this Lab.

Embryology: contains 2 teaching staffs (2 Ph. D) giving theoretical lectures of embryology to the students of school of Medicine (2nd stage).

Biology: is located in the first floor. It contains 2 teaching staffs (1 Ph. D and 1 MSc.) giving theoretical and practical lectures for the first year students of the schools of Medicine and Dentistry.

In addition, all the teaching staffs are participating in postgraduate teaching of MSc., high Diploma and Board students and also all are participating in the CAD activities of the school.
