Separation and Characterization of Polyoheniloxidase (PPO) from Melissia Officinalis

ABSTRACT

Polyphenol oxidase ( ppo) of Melissia officinalis was isolated and purified by gel

filtration and ion exchange chromatography. Three isoenzymes were separated.The

isoelectric points and some kinetic properties of these isonzymes are reported.
