2019 End of Year Reporting
We are now ready to share your child’s end of year achievement and progress report with you. On Monday, 16th December, you will receive an email from SchoolTalk with your child’s end of year report. The purpose of this communication is to outline what to expect and to answer any questions you may have.
You can expect to see how your child is achieving against each aspect of the School's Graduate Learner Profile (see below). There will be three main parts to your child's end of year achievement and progress report.
Please note if your child is in Hub Koru, you will receive a physical report from their hub teachers. This report will be about your child's experience at school so far rather than a measure against the curriculum level expectations.

Staff Farewell
Stacey Rowe started her teaching career at Stonefields School in 2017 and has been a caring and much-loved teacher at Stonefields School. Stacey has made a significant contribution to the learners she has taught during her time through her kindness and strong relationships. Her compassion and expertise in supporting learners will be missed by learners and staff alike. Stacey is expanding her teaching experience and looking forward to continuing her journey at Clevedon School. We have a great relationship with Clevedon School and we are looking forward to watching Stacey grow from strength to strength. We wish her all the best.

Sport
Auckland Primary TAG Champs
Our Yr 5/6 TAG team took on Auckland's best teams at the Primary TAG Champs last week. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the challenge of facing more experienced teams. It was great to see our team learning from their opposition and using our speed to score lots of great team tries. Watch this space in 2020!
Touch and Rippa Rugby
This year we have had a huge amount of interest in Rippa Rugby and touch rugby from our learners. It would be great if we could set up some school teams to play in the after school leagues at local clubs. These usually run in Term 1 and Term 4. To do this we would require volunteers to coach and manage the teams as we do for netball. We will look to provide a coaches training session for those who are new to Rippa and touch. If you would be interested in coaching a team next year please email lynnk@stonefields.school.nz. At this stage we do not need to know which learners are interested, we are looking for coaches first.

Flippa Ball
Well done to our 2 Flippa Ball teams on a great season. A huge thank you to those parents who supported these teams with managing and coaching.
As we are reaching the end of the year I'd just like to thank everyone who has supported our school sports this year. We wouldn't have been able to provide so many opportunities without your support. Thank you for giving your time, enthusiasm and expertise, it is greatly appreciated.
We look forward to continuing to grow our sports programme with you in 2020.
