Public Safety

One of the many services Fairfield Township provides is a commitment to the safety of our community. Through the support of the Township Fire Levy, Fairfield Township contracts with three fire departments from neighboring communities of New Waterford, Leetonia, and Columbiana to provide fire and EMS protection township wide.

The Fire Levy funds also allowed for the creation of the Old School Lake and Dry Hydrant project at the centrally located Fairfield Township Government Center. This addition of valuable water capacity provides needed fire-fighting power and improve fire insurance ratings.

Township wide police protection 24/7 is provided by the Columbiana County Sheriff's Department.
