History

Driving throughout Fairfield Township, visitors will note that the location of early public schools is behind the name of roads and regions within the township. The acquisition of the former Fairfield School (later Fairfield Centralized School District and later Crestview Local Schools) site on Fairfield-School Road afforded Fairfield Township the opportunity to purchase 16 acres of centrally located land to be used in the creation of the Fairfield Township Government Center.
