The Fairfield Township Zoning Commission will hold a quarterly meeting on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Swope Meeting Room of the Fairfield Township Administration Building located at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio. This meeting is open to the public. Agenda items include a proposed change to the Zoning Resolution, Fairfield Township, Columbiana County, Ohio, July 30, 1997 reads as follows:

305.01 Performance Standards.

(j) Fire and Explosion Hazards …

(3) The storage or use of pyrophoric or explosive powders or dusts is permitted with approval of the Board of Zoning Appeals and subject to such conditions as they shall require for such activity and provided that such storage or use is required for the primary product, service, or activity of the permitted use. The manufacture of such materials, as either a byproduct or waste product is not permitted unless approved by the Board and subject to such conditions as they shall require for such activity.
