The Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals, under the authority of the Chairman of the Board, will reconvene to consider the approved application and conditions of same for Almamet, USA, Inc. upon property known as Parcel(s) 16-02419001 / 16-02292000 (in whole or in part) located in the vicinity of Cherry Fork and Esterly Drives (aka Port Authority Property) Fairfield Township, Columbiana County, Ohio.
The purpose of this meeting would be as follows: To discuss conditions required to address financial repercussion on the Township and taxpayers in regard to additional fire protection costs related to hazardous materials handled by Almamet USA, Inc.; Potential annexation and annexation impact on the Township and Crestview Local Schools, respectively; and additional tractor and trailer traffic and the ingress and egress of this traffic on the two (2) Township roads and the cost to improve and to maintain the roads in order to support additional traffic.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold this PUBLIC HEARING on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Swope Meeting Room of the Fairfield Township Administration Building located at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio. This meeting is open to the public.
