A Zoning Certificate is required for any addition to a house, garage, non-agriculturally exempted barn, shed, or related if you are adding on to enlarge the structure and/or changing the footprint, height, etc. or enclosing a porch or deck to create an additional room. Maintenance such as a new roof on an existing structure, new siding to an existing structure, or replacement windows to an existing structure do NOT require a zoning certificate.
