The Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a REQUESTED WORK SESSION on December 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fairfield Township Administration Building located at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio. This work session was requested by Board Member, John Gross. This meeting is open to the public.

Fairfield Township Trick or Treat time is set for October 31, 2017 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. 

Meeting to Review Application 17-13 Compliance.

There will be a meeting to review the final plans for Application 17-13 for PhD Manufacturing. Variance of 17-13 was previously granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals on August 1, 2017. This review will confirm compliance with the agreed upon variance and related resolution. This review will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the Fairfield Township Administration Building at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio 44408. This meeting is open to the public. 

Community Cleanup

Fairfield Township will host a Community Cleanup for Residents of Fairfield Township, Columbiana County, Ohio on September 28 and September 29, 2017 from 7 am - 3:30 p.m. at the Township Administration Site at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana Ohio. Proof of residency in the form of a utility or tax bill is required. 

Tires and items containing freon are not accepted. Fairfield Township Hosts an annual Tire Collection in May of each year. Please follow announcements and calendar for future dates. 

Scrap Metal and Some Large Appliances are accepted. NO REFRIGERATORS, AIR CONDITIONERS OR ANY ITEM(S) CONTAINING FREON. 

Large Household items including furniture and mattresses are accepted. 

Public Notice of the Meeting of The Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals August 1, 2017

The Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a PUBLIC HEARING regarding an Application for Variance on August 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairfield Township Administration Building located at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio. The application submitted by PhD Manufacturing, Inc. requests a variance from the Required Parking Spaces per the Fairfield Township Zoning Code upon the I-1 zoned property located on parcels 17-00844.000 and 17-00849.001 aka mailing address 44018 Columbiana-Waterford Road, Columbiana, Ohio 44408. This meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are invited to attend. 

 

Please note this request is not made in conjunction with the Conditional Use Application 17-07. This is a separate action Application for Variance 17-13 based on a revised site layout concept. The revised layout does not propose access to an I-1 District through an R-2 District or a reduction in the I-1 side yard depth. Table 503 Required Parking Spaces Single Occupant Industrial building 1 space per 700 square foot of floor area. Minimum of 8 spaces. Proposed Building = 62,900 Square Feet. 62,900 SF / 700 SF = 89.8 Rounded up to 90 Spaces Required. Proposed new parking = 20 spaces. Variance Requested: 70 spaces (90-20).

The Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a PUBLIC HEARING regarding an Application for Conditional Use on June 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairfield Township Administration Building located at 3062 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio. The application submitted by PhD Manufacturing, Inc. requests permission to construct a new building to expand existing operations on the location known as Columbiana County, Ohio Parcel # 1700849001 also known as 44018 Columbiana-Waterford Road, Columbiana County, Ohio. This property is zoned light industrial. This meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are invited to attend.

High Grass Enforcement

 We are just giving a courtesy heads up that we will begin enforcing the high grass ordinance a little early this year. Make sure to get those lawn and gardens trim and tidy! Any residence with grass in excess of 12" is subject to enforcement. For clarification or question please don't hesitate to contact (330) 853-7132. 

May 4, 2017 Tire Collection 12 pm - 5 pm

All should be vehicle or small truck tires off rim. Limit 10 per household. Township residents only.
