September 10th, 2024 Dedham PTF Meeting Agenda

1. Call to Order / Sign in:

• Madeline Wright, Douglas Wright, Katie McCourt, Tim Bush, Larry Clement, Jody Butilier, Carl Whitham, Lindsay McMorrow, Kieryn McMorrow, Jerry Troger, Tim Pearson

2. Approval of August Minutes (approved)

3. Treasurer’s Report

• Checking balance: $7,642.33

• Scrip Saving balance: $2,195.14, + 0.09 in interest

4. Concert Parking – Sept 14th – Saturday Night – Pit Bull 

• WE NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

• Jerry has vests

• Mr. Clement to send email

5. Red Sox Tickets - we have a package of 4 to Sept 20th game 7:10

• Silent auction on facebook, via post, winner selected Sunday night 5pm, Mr. Clements can share it broadly

6. Golf Tournament Update – Saturday September 28th 

• Atlantic Landscape is the Official Tournament Sponsor!!

• Still looking for sponsors

7. Trunk or Treat/Family Movie Night – Saturday October 19th

• family movie night runner/organizer = Katie McCourt

• to do:

  • concessions

  • fire dept invite

  • facebook vote on the films to be shown

• Schedule:

  • 3:30 - 4:30 trunk or treat

  • 4:30 - 5 cleanup and move over to the field

  • 5 - 7 movie (Coco, Charlie Brown (the Great Pumpkin), Hotel Transylvania)

8. Request of funds:

• Tim Pearson - $1,200 for 4th Grade Swim (approved)

• Linda Christie - $1,190 < $1,200 for the school play (approved)

• Erika Haulk – Back to school shirts for Teachers – $417 (approved)

• Katherine Daigle - Sept 27 - early Oct - movie Wild Robot $400, 2nd, 3rd, 4th (approved)

• Annie Goodwin, Climate Culture Committee, music, drinks, snacks, $50, (approved)

9.  Old Business / New Business

• Call for new officers, positions expire after one year

• Call for gala assistants / event runners
