February 13, 2024 Dedham PTF Meeting Agenda

5:30pm at Dedham School

1. Call to Order / Sign in

• Tim Bush, Katie MaCourt, Carl Whitham, Jerry Troger, Jeff Paul, Erika Haulk, Jody Butilier, Douglas Wright

2. Approval of January Minutes with the following changes (Tim motioned, Jody 2nd; all approved):

• adjust 8th grade fishing trip cost to $207.78 from $200

• adjust the approved projector to include the backdrop-still under the approved amount but list both projector and backdrop

3. Treasurer’s Report

Checking balance: $13,855.49

Scrip Saving balance: $2,194.50

4. January Book Fair -  believe it went well

5. Staff Gift – 36 Gifts at $12 Each $432 Total – Possibly a little  higher.

• bump to $475, for potential new hires (Tim motioned, Jerry 2nd, all approved)

6. March: Winter Carnival – March 26th 5pm - 7pm

• Carnival Task Force – Will need a lot of volunteers.

• Wednesday the 21st February 5:30 pm task force meeting (Tim motioned, Jerry 2nd, all approved)

8. Request of funds: 

• Beth Handley - $300 for 8th Grade Field Trip to Challenger Learning Center, March 22nd (Tim motioned, Jody 2nd, all approved)

• Erika Haulk – Solar Eclipse on April 8th

  • Tim, Jerry and Erika will meet with the salesman to work out the details and place the order for glasses and display cases

  • Tim mentioned, Jerry 2nd, all approved to purchase 600 pairs to sell as a fundraiser 

9. December 2024 Auction Gala Event
