October 11th, 2022 Dedham PTF Meeting Notes

1. Attendance / sign-in Call to Order

2. Approval of September Minutes

*Amount in treasurer's report does include Amazon

*Reduced info regarding gifts for Teacher Appreciation

3. Treasurer’s Report

Checking balance: $ 9,281.86

*Floor Mats- $1,885.83

Scrip Saving balance: $2,190.95

Discussion regarding Stompers. Discussed ideas to thank Stompers. Jerry will design a thank you.

4. Voting of officers

Voted to maintain current officers

5. Family Movie Night 10/22

-popcorn & hot chocolate

Made list of items to be brought with us.

Jerry will get the popcorn and oil. We have cups. Hot chocolate from Dunkin Donuts. Will order glow bracelets.

Rain date 10/29.

6. Request of funds:

-Beth Handley $ 560 for middle school science

Mrs. Handley will do further research and get back to us asap.

-Linda Christie $ 450 for digital background for the play

Will come back to this.

7. Next Few Months:

October: Trunk or Treat / Movie Night, apparel store: Apparel store open 10/17-10/23. Both logos available. November:_______________________________________________________________________________

8. Keeping on the radar: Calendar Raffle ($10/ticket, discussed prizes), Teacher Appreciation gifts, Frozen Projector -Discussed ways to offset cost (50/50 raffle?). Will check with Mrs. Christie to see what kind of lead time is needed to rent projector. Jerry will reach out to get specs.
