Electromagnetic Waves
Light
Any disturbance that transfers energy from place to place.
Mechanical Wave
A waves that moves through a medium.
Electromagnetic Radiation
An electromagnetic wave, transfers electromagnetic radiation.
Tranverse Wave
Travel perpendicular to the direction of the source's motion.
Longitudinal Wave
A waves that travels the same direction as the vibration that produces it.
The wave bounces off and heads in a different direction from the medium. The bending of waves due to a change in speed.
Waves that bend around objects. The energy of a wave is transferredd to the material it encounters.
Is made up of vibratinge electric and magnetic fields that can move through space at the speed of light.
A material that transmits most of the light that strikes it.
Material scatters the light that passes through it.
OVERALL REFLECTION FOR THIS TOPIC
In conclusion, this topic improved my knowledge and understanding of the movement around me, particularly the different sorts of movements and how they work. In my perspective, understanding what is going on around you is always beneficial, and this issue provided me with that opportunity. As I study more about waves and the many types of waves, I gain a greater understanding of how the movement around me flows and functions in general. As a result, if I witness a form of movement, I will be able to identify the type of wave, the medium through which it is flowing, and the characteristics of its movements.Â
