Describing Motion and Force
Speed, Velocity, and Acceleration
Newton's Laws of Motion
Friction and Gravitational Interactions
An object in motion is when its position changes when compared to another object. A force is a push or pull.
Is a place or object used for comparison to determine whether something is in motion.
Is a contact force that two surfaces exert on each other when they rub on each other.
Is the combination of all the forces acting on that object.
The distance of an object the object moves per unit of time. The speed at which an object travels in a given direction is called velocity. Acceleration is the rate at which velocity changes.
Every object moves in a straight line unless acted on by a force.
The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force exerted and inversely proportional to the object's mass.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
OVERALL REFLECTION FOR THIS TOPIC
After learning about this topic, I realized how vital it is in my life: reality. Forces and motion are crucial concepts to understand since they are used in many everyday situations. Understanding how forces and motion function would undoubtedly help me solve difficulties in the real world or just judge a situation involving motion and force. For example, if I see a car moving, I may be able to determine the reference point, acceleration, and the law of motion. In conclusion, this topic has provided me with a wealth of information and a greater understanding of how the forces around me operate.
