For this assignment, I collected quotes from weekly articles and The Taming of the Shrew and organized them by themes connected to the essential question.
Academic Growth:
This task strengthened my ability to analyze multiple texts and synthesize information across sources. I learned how to select relevant evidence, cite it correctly, and connect nonfiction arguments to Shakespeare in a way that supported a cohesive claim. It helped me move from surface-level observation toward deeper academic analysis, focusing on how different authors develop similar ideas about gender expectations.
Personal Growth:
On a personal level, the Evidence Tracker helped me become a more intentional and active reader. Instead of simply reading through material, I learned to search for connections, patterns, and real-world implications. Tracking ideas about gender roles across texts made me more aware of how strongly society influences identity and behavior, both historically and today.
