SOME OF MY ESSAYS :
Hai Ba Trung
One of the most powerful and strong women in history is Hai Ba Trung. Hai Ba Trung are sisters who had flighted in war together and had sacrificed themselves for the sake of Vietnam. They ruled our country for many years before they had passed away. They were truly amazing.
The Trung sisters were named Trung Trac and Trung Nhi. They were both born together at the village of Me Linh in Son Tay region of Vietnam. They were born in 14 AD and lived for around 30 years before they died. They were both very well educated and were very smart. They’d always help each other throughout everything and anything. They both studied literature and they trained in extreme martial arts under the watchful eye of their father. They were always ready to inherit their fathers' skills and titles. Because of their education and intelligence, the two girls enjoyed many freedoms. After a long time after they were born, they soon both got husbands and got to know more people. Every day, they would practice martial arts together, that was their dream to become strong and powerful woman that could make a difference to the world. They just got better and better every day.
One day, Trung Trac’s husband was executed. No one could believe this because he was known as a brave and kind man. He was executed all just because he stood up for Governor To Dinh, so the people in China was mad and executed him. When the sisters knew, they were furious and wanted to give revenge back to them, they thought their rules were unfair and did not have any equality for anyone. So, they came up with a plan. They wanted to bring troops to China and start war with them. They gathered around 80,000 troops including their mother. Each day for months, they would train together so they could beat China. All of the troops were woman. After a long amount of time, they were ready and started to invade China. While in the fight, the Trung sisters were both climbing on elephants. It was very stressful for them but they never gave up. After a long, hard battle, they successfully won. In reward, they had claimed 65 citadels from the Chinese ruler in 40 AD. But then sadly, one day, the Chinese emperor had changed our fate. They had killed the sisters because rebellion against China.
This was truly sad for the death of them. We are thankful for what they had did just to sacrifice themselves to save our country. They had gone through hard times and have accomplished many achievements. Without them, our Vietnam wouldn’t be like this. They also gave a lot of women more motivation.
The sisters were very brave and smart. They were always fearless and strong, even through hard times. For women, they are very unique, for their personality and character traits. I really do think they have made a big difference in this world.

My Best Decision Ever
Moving to the USA was the best opportunity of my life. Even though the first phew months were hard, I still managed to keep up and never give up. I’m enormously proud of myself, I will never forget this.
I am a 14-year-old girl who lives in the Philippines, I am also from the Philippines. I live with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. Me and my family are middle classes, but life is still so boring and tired to me. I often stay at my computer all day, my siblings do too. But then one day, my parents suddenly asked me if I wanted to go to the USA with them, I was shocked because I always wanted to go there, I quickly said but I then asked “How am I going to go there if I cannot speak English? “. But they then said that we can all learn English before we go there.
Now, I would take English classes every day for 3 hours. My parents and siblings also do too. After 2 months, I would speak English but I was not fluent yet. My parents said that we are going to USA tomorrow. Then the next day, we go to the airport and arrived at the place. My parents rented a hotel room for us to stay in for a phew days. After putting our things in the hotel, we decided to go to a restaurant so get some food. When we were waiting for our food, I accidentally spilled the cup of water next to me, but then someone came to help me clean the mess.
It was a tall, skinny American looking girl. I was shocked about why she would help me because no one would be that generous. I said thank you and then she walked away. I quickly ran to her and asked to be her friend, she said yes and then we added each other over some social media. When I came home, I called her, I asked if she wanted to hang out with me tomorrow at the mall so we could know more about each other. She immediately agreed. I felt happier than ever, I finally could feel the happiness I never felt before. I'm surprised how things got so fast like this.
The next day, we went to hangout. I told her that I am not fluent in English and that I just started learning a phew months ago. She said she could teach me because she could speak Tagalog too. I also knew more things about her, everything turned out great. I started getting more friends, they were incredibly supportive and caring towards me. And about my family, my parents got new jobs and they managed to buy a house after a phew months. My siblings also had friends; they even had a coffee shop.
I am surprised how my life changed so much. I am so grateful for all these things. I hope it will stay like this forever.
