Manga, Anime, Drawing
In my free time, I always spend it watching anime or reading manga. In my opinion, these works of art let me experience life in a different point of view and, furthermore, get to understand my own feelings and other feelings in their perspectives, also showcasing beautiful art in specific art styles that fit my liking. Where my feelings can be expressed through drawing as well!
Writing, Analysing, Reading
Because of ELA and AP Seminar, I have felt more interested in writing and analyzing information. And although most people don't like it, I am not ashamed of this passion of mine! I find writing as another beautiful way of expressing one's inner feelings and thoughts, and analyzing information grants me a better understanding of the world.
Solitude
Solitude is the state or situation of being alone, often by choice, where one is separated from others and experiences privacy and peace. There is something deeply fulfilling about solitude that I have come to cherish. When I am alone, away from the noise and distractions of everyday life, I find a peaceful space where my mind can breathe and wander freely. In those quiet moments, I reconnect with my true self, explore my thoughts, and rejuvenate my spirit.
Favourite subjects
In my opinion, it boosts both creativity and critical thinking. It lets me explore new worlds through literature, sparking empathy and imagination. The skills of reading, writing, and speaking are essential for communication in everyday life. ELA encourages questioning, analyzing, and forming opinions. It’s not just about grammar but about storytelling, connection, and improving how we express ourselves, making it a gateway to endless possibilities.
I enjoy AP Seminar because it teaches me how to think critically, research deeply, and communicate effectively. It challenges me to explore real-world topics from multiple viewpoints and construct strong, evidence-based arguments. These skills are meaningful because they prepare me for future academic work, to understand multiple perspectives and everyday decision-making, helping me develop confidence and clarity in my thinking.
AP Macroeconomics fascinates me because it helps me understand how the big economy works; topics like inflation, unemployment, and government policies. Learning these concepts is meaningful because it connects classroom theory to real-world events, allowing me to analyze economic issues that affect daily life and society. It also sharpens my problem-solving and data interpretation skills, preparing me for careers in economics or business. And as much as it is self-study based, it challenges me, and I love growing this way!
Experiences
I haven’t had any particularly unique or extraordinary experiences like winning a competition or traveling somewhere truly special. For me, what matters most is the personal growth I gain from everyday moments and the connections I build by truly listening to others. I believe that growth comes from learning through relationships, understanding different perspectives, and reflecting on those experiences, rather than from standout events. In this way, I value my journey of continuous self-improvement and empathy, which shapes who I am more deeply than any single unique experience could.
I don't really see myself having a role in this society except being a student and a citizen but I believe that as someone apart of this society, I have possessed natural values of hard work, compassion, dedication and love towards all of my experiences, and in my opinion, that is what contributes to being a human being in this generation - living up to your own aspirations. Although I did sign up for Student Council and I'm hoping to get accepted in.
