OVERALL UNIT REFLECTION
Understanding how to find and write the equation of a line has been crucial in my math journey. It's not just about numbers; it's about figuring out how they relate to each other and explaining that clearly. Finding the slope and intercept helps me understand how a line works. Evaluating functions gives me a deeper understanding by showing how different inputs change the output. Solving systems of linear equations using methods like substitution, elimination, and graphing has expanded my problem-solving skills, offering different ways to find answers. Similarly, solving and graphing linear inequalities shows me where solutions can be found in a problem. Solving word problems about linear functions and inequalities has helped me use math in real-life situations. Altogether, these topics have given me a range of skills for understanding and working with mathematical relationships. As algebra and graphing become and integral part of math - especially for the next few years in my academic journey, this unit may help me practice this area of information, improving my thinking about solving and graphing.
