AGENT ORANGE PROJECT
Agent Orange was a poisonous, plant-killing chemical (herbicide) used by the United States military to clear vegetation during the Vietnam War. Agent Orange exposure causes cancer, congenital (birth) abnormalities, and sometimes fatal health issues.
In this investigatory project, we will explore the historical context and environmental impact of Agent Orange, a powerful herbicide used during the Vietnam War. Additionally, students will delve into the physical and chemical properties of various war instruments used in the past. By taking pictures and completing an analysis of these instruments, students will gain a deeper understanding of their composition, function, and the potential consequences of their usage.
