Student missed the drop or withdraw date for their course:
As we’ve not had any technical issues or outages reported that would have impacted their registration access, the solution is to have them submit an appeal.
Direct them to the Appeal for Academic Withdrawal/Extenuating Circumstances on the FRCC website, or in the Popular Student Forms card under the Appeal form section in eWOLF.
Student dropped or withdrew from a course in error:
Look on SFASTCA to see when they did the registration action.
There is a window of 5-business days for the student to initiate re-enrollment, so advise them to take action promptly.
Have the student complete the Student Authorization for Course Change form - email the student at their student email address with the link to the Student Authorization for Course Change form.

Faculty informs us that they have dropped a student for non-attendance in error:
Due to some issues we’ve seen where the student later contests their registration, it’s preferrable for the student to complete the Student Authorization for Course Change form. Then, Registrar Staff will reach out to the faculty member to verify this was done in error and we’ll re-enroll the student.

With that said, we do still have the Internal Registration Adjustment form on our Registrar Intranet site. We’ll still process those as we have in the past, but would like to move towards have the student request the re-enrollment using the Student Authorization for Course Change form
Of note: the window of 5-business days to initiate re-enrollment aligns with system processes for Colorado Online, so we adopted that a few terms ago to be consistent.
