Tips/talking points
Auditing a class is NOT free. In fact, sometimes it can be more costly because COF (the College Opportunity Fund) doesn’t apply.
Auditing a class doesn’t meet the credit hour requirements for financial aid nor veteran benefits.
An “audited” class doesn’t apply to certificate or degree requirements.
Non-credit options may work better for topics that students are interested in – refer to Continuing Education department.
