These students should not be presented with the term “fraudulent” in any written or verbal interactions.
SAFE App
After May 11th, 2026, students will complete their ID verification through the app rather than coming in person. We should encourage verification via the SAFE app and only have student come in to complete verification if they were admitted prior to May 11th or if they are having troubles with the app or don't have a valid government ID.
If a student needs to complete an ID verification they will receive and email and text message with a link to complete the verification. The link is good for 24 hours. If the link expires before they complete their verification, the application processors can resend the link. Have the student (or we can) contact FRCCCWApplicationProcessors@frontrange.edu.
The verification email comes from safe@safehighered.com - students may ask if this is a legitimate email and you can let them know it is.
**If a student doesn't complete their verification within a week, their application is moved to the Fail category. In this instance, the student would need to work with the application processors to start the process over again.
We will see the following information in Recruit in a student's profile if they are flagged for review (ID verification) with the new process:
How to search for an inactive applicant in Recruit
Identification
Open Advanced Find by clicking on the funnel in the top right corner
Choose "People" in the "Look for" bar
Choose "All Inactive People" in the "Use Saved View" bar
Add Filters by choosing the Select field then finding the fields you desire to search for. First Name, Last Name (if common add more filters like Birth date, and Email Address)
Click the Red Exclamation mark to pull up the results
Each Opportunity (application) that has been withdrawn and the Person Record (Account) deactivated will have a statement in the Notes section of the Related Information (on the right-hand side of the record under Recruitment Opportunities)
The Note will read “Application has been withdrawn, and the Person record has been deactivated. The student must bring in their valid, government issued photo identification to the Registrar’s office on any campus to verify account information. Application Processor’s name” (See below for the example)
