Specifically in SOAHSCH, a student in any of the above programs will have a post-dated HS grad date, which is one to potentially confirm they’re in HS still.
Concurrent Enrollment students can start taking FRCC classes as early as 9th grade through either what FRCC calls High School Select or Campus Select
ASCENT currently offers students the opportunity to attend FRCC for a “5th year” or for 1 year after they meet their HS grad requirements & complete 9 college credits. Students cannot defer program acceptance; program approval/acceptance is managed by school districts, as FRCC is only responsible for offering the courses and administrative/billing paperwork.
TREP currently offers students the opportunity to attend FRCC for a “5th & 6th year” or for up to 2 years after they meet their HS grad requirements & complete required TREP courses in HS (identified by CDE on their TREP program guide)
PTECH currently offers students the opportunity to attend FRCC for a “5th & 6th year” or for up to 2 years to complete their degree program that they start in their freshman year of high school.
Specifically in SGASADD,
students in CE will have an HSC listed under “student attribute”
students in ASCENT will have an HSA listed under “student attribute”
students in TREP will have an HST or HST2 listed under “student attribute”
students in PTECH will have an HSP listed under “student attribute”
HSE – Early College High Schools
Specifically in SPACMNT,
students in any of the above programs will have a note on their account stating in some manner identified by the POT, for example, (202520 approved for CE, ASCENT, TREP, etc.…”):
This varies slightly by program, as the approved program name will change.
Also, because CE has extended census dates for POT, then the notes will not be on the student account until CE enrolls the student or receives approval from the district. Generally, we aim to attribute code all students taking Campus Select, ASCENT, TREP, and PTECH courses by the college’s semester census (9/4 for this fall), but High School Select courses will come on a rolling basis later up until Nov. 4th this fall for Larimer and Westminster campuses.
