Juicy mixed berries bursting beneath a golden lattice crust. Tart-sweet summer flavors in every slice.
Very Berry Pie (9-inch)

Ingredients
*Crust:*
- 300g all-purpose flour
- 140g cold butter, cubed
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 80ml ice water
*Filling:*
- 500g mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 100g sugar
- 30g cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
*Egg Wash:*
- 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. *Make crust*: Pulse flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly. Add water; mix until dough forms. Chill 30 min.
2. *Prep filling*: Toss berries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla.
3. *Assemble*: Roll out 2/3 dough for base; fill with berries. Cut remaining dough into strips; weave lattice top.
4. *Bake*: Brush with egg wash. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 40-45 min until bubbling and golden.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Tip: Freeze extra berries for winter pies!
