Adams Fixtures

NOTE: The production of these fixtures was taken over by EPCO in 2004.

Survivor

Survivor was Adams's standard fixture, a round white plastic button that lights up. It is one of the most common elevator fixtures in the United States.

Survivor Plus

Survivor Plus was Adams's standard vandal resistant fixture, consisting of a stainless steel button with a light in the center. It has a similar appearance to Dover's Vandal Resistant buttons. Survivor Plus is very common for high-traffic public elevators in urban areas, such as in transit stations or parking garages. These buttons have been extensively used by Schindler, most notably with the modified version found in their HT Vandal Resistant fixtures.

Designer

Designer is a fixture similar to Classic, consisting of a white square button (similar to the round Survivor button) with a wraparound braille. Call stations often lack the wraparound braille.

Black buttons

These very rare black buttons are thought to be made by Adams. They look like Otis's 1970s black buttons.
